Amanda quite frankly has little advantage over many of the other girls. She’s got kind of a sexy voice and a nice looking frame, but that can’t explain her placement in the layman's top two. I’ll say the powerful Texas voting bloc ushered her in.

Hopeful #23 - Amanda 

Amanda’s entry is basically one awkward, low-quality (the most unstable camera in Texas is used to film this one) cinematic attempt. Which means that in spite of its awkward and low quality nature, there’s still exponentially more effort put into this entry than most of the other ones. A camera pans around looking for all the action, then spots the heroine who can supposedly bring it. The way this is situated makes it look like Amanda is the reason for, not the solution for ending, this desolation. Things turn for the especially awkward when Amanda gets all chemically imbalanced at the end, stating what she postulates is the theme of the Slugfest game she is hawking, yelling “it’s better than real.” Sure it is. But can you dance? How do you look in a bikini? Do you mind being mentally undressed by denizens of permanent virgins? These are things Midway needs to know before you can strut your stuff for them (which she would do, she was one of the top two chosen by the proletariat).

You probably noticed we have come all this way and not seen either of the two winners as elected by the plebeians of the gaming/Internet scene.  I wonder what can be behind that "Next" link down bottom.
