Hopeful #22 - Corrin

Yeech, if you must do nothing more than stand idly and talk in this cheerleader tryout video, lose the distracting visual pollution in the background. Think long and hard about this one: do you really except to have a chance against Katrina’s vexing flexibility and Colleen’s obvious skill with a video you just slapped together in two takes in some hallway which likely happened because somebody who just happened to have a camera?

Anywho, here we have Corrin, the final California girl, I promise. Once again, the first thing she mentions after her name is the mentary motivation. Yeah, the cash is nice, and saying it is may be honest, but it’s still not what John Q. Gamefan wants to hear. She then mentions the fact she has bills to pay and the like. We all do, although mentioning this gives the impression your problems are more serious than those of the other girls, and I guess they may very well be. +0.5 Sympathy points, I guess.

She then talks about how she thinks cheerleading is fun. I think it’d have been more interesting if she would’ve gone all feminist on them and been like “I’m here to take a stand! The practice of putting women on display as objects has got to stop!” Just when you thought you’d have to punch this starry-eyed Susan B. Anthony wannabe in the crotch, the camera zooms out and she’d go all “Sike! I love dancing for men” as she rips her current outfit from her body revealing a strng bikini and beings dancing appropriately to a medley of songs played in strip clubs. Awesome!

But Corrin’s cilp isn’t awesome. Instead, she goes on about her energy or something. Bah. At least it’s not a KISS-FM creation.
