5) Star Ball Starball's a pinball game, and a surprisingly playable one at that. I mean, the presentation is piss poor with such a small percentage of the game on the screen at once and a very sparce playing field, and there's this interesting feature where if your ball is falling at the right angle just to the left of the leftmost flipper on the bottom that it falls through the solid surface, and the sound effects are loud and probably picked at random. But other than that I can't really think of anything bad to say about Starball. This looks like quite a bit, but these are comparatively minor qualms one can have with the game, at least when compared to some of the horror stories of old. While the game is nowhere near good, and might in fact be the worst pinball simulator out there, I strongly doubt the crazy SOBs who created this game are high-fiving each other remembering the horror they unleashed when Star Ball dropped, and and attention-hungry game bloggers aren't high-fiving each other with their insults about this game's unplayability and utter badness. |
