4) G-Force Fighters Yeech, only four games in and this is already our second scrolling space shooter. There are, though, a few differences between this game and Star Evil that Active Enterprises no doubt considers innovations. For starters, the game scrolls from left ro right, not bottom to top. Then, there are fewer obstacles than in Star Evil. Finally, you have here a life bar, a 'Fuel' gauge that does down every time you're hit. Interesting thing here is that it won't go down at all unless you've been hit no matter how much of this stuff you burn off. I guess it's pretty refreshing to see a space shooter where it takes more than one hit to die, though. The borders look relaitvely good, I guess. One of the better games on Action 52 like Kenya, with its 7% AIDS rate and $1,300 per capita income is one of the more desirable African countries. |
