33) Lollipop Basically, the stage layout is
lifted directly from a stage found in Lemmings but condensed enough to
fit on to 1/52 of a late NES era cart. There' are, of
course, the control issues (arrrugh) and the enemies (some more
identifiable than others) to deal with. Also, when your guy suffers
death, from one hit of anything (natch), he transforms into just about
the ugliest lump of ugly imaginable. The disintegration of your
guy upon death is usually the graphical apex of an action 52 game,
although thankfully it's not for this one. I'm still scratching
myself in pain from seeing it once. I can't imagine the effects multiple
views of this would have on a lesser being. |
