Meong is exciting fun.  You could blow up after three turns, or you could blow up after thirty.  You never know when you're gonna die.

19) Meong

It seems as though whoever responsible for these attempts at harming the public has decided to step out of the world of the shooter, platformer and 'classic' genres for Meong. Here we have Action 52's stab at a game board/puzzle type thing. As we've seen before, boldness (as far as Action 52 in concerned anyways) doesn't necessarily translate into anything worth the resources consumed to make it. Here, you will control a triangle made from the characters "A, 5 and 2' from one side of the 'board' to another while not bumping into the invisible explosives that randomly teleport across the squares. Now, a typical puzzle game, by its very nature, is going to feature both skill and luck in their gameplay, with probably greater emphasis on the skill part. The skill part of the equation here, though is reduced to the ability to press the D-pad and the luck completely reigns everything else in Meong. Actually, I really wouldn't consider that the case since I've taken some three dozen attempts at this game and have yet to see the other side of that 'board'. I use little apostrophes (to indicate irony!) around board because I've never seen the end of it. Boards aren't usually endless planes of squares, blank spaces and phantom fulminations. But hey, the exploding A52 icon has all sorts of obvious symbolism therein, symbolism so obvious that one must wonder how those responsible for this collection really felt about it.
